Connect-Belong-Grow Autism Support Association (CBG) is pleased to invite you to join us as an exhibitor for the upcoming Autism Expo 2024. AUTISM EXPO 2024 is a free event for families and caregivers to connect with connect with local service providers and community supports within the greater Edmonton area. This event will give those caring for a loved one with Autism Spectrum Disorder the opportunity to meet and meet and learn about local supports local supports accessible within their community.

We have invited a carefully considered variety of local service providers who can provide support services to families and caregivers at different stages of development. This event welcomes families who are pre-diagnosis as well as those seeking services beyond diagnosis to find helpful resources for their needs.

  • Raise Autism Awareness.

  • Connect families, caregivers and support workers to local community supports

  • accessible within the Edmonton area 

  • Provide an online version to compliment the in person event

Exhibitor information: 

 

Autism Expo 2024 will provide attendees with an in person and online experience to learn about local community resources for individuals with Autism. The in person event will be held at Chateau Louis September 28, 2024  and will accommodate 20 -25 exhibitors to meet and greet attendees looking to access community support for their loved ones with autism. In addition to this, a virtual version of the Autism Expo will be available for attendees to access if they cannot attend in person. Providing accessibility for all families and individuals looking to connect to local community supports.

Details for the Autism Expo 2024:

​

A maximum of 20 - 25 booths are available with an 8 x 8 ft area. Exhibitors are not to extend displays beyond the space allotted. Table linens are limited and will be provided upon first request to exhibitors. Power cords will not be provided and are the responsibility of each individual exhibitor. Sound levels must be kept to reasonable levels as this is a sensory friendly event. Exhibitors are responsible for the security of their own booths during the Expo. Booths should be manned at all times.

  • In addition to exhibitor display booths, each exhibitor will have a page dedicated to their services listed on the Virtual Autism Expo 2024 webpage at https://www.edmontonautismexpo.com/virtual-exihibitors This page will include pictures or a video of your agency/organization with details listed below. Brochures and additional information can also be linked on this page to decrease contact related to the in person exchange of materials related to your agency. Exhibitors will have their choice of 3 options to share their agency/organization information on this virtual platform:

1. Video Submission (Highly recommended)


a.    5-15 minute video submission which will be linked to your own exhibitor page on our website at www.edmontonautismexpo.com via our you tube channel. This video will be at the top of the page, followed by a description and contact information of your agency/organization below. We ask that you consider this option as it will give families who may not be able to attend, an experience most similar to the in person event. This way the families can see, hear and learn about your services in greater detail. This can include promotional videos used by your agency to share information with the community as well. Please also include a write up outlining the key points provided below regarding your agency/organization (including your contact information).

 

2. Photo Slide Show


a.    Provide a variety of high quality photos for a slide show that gives a good picture of your agency and the services they provide within the community. As well as a written description including contact information.

3. Photo


a.    One photo displayed on page with written detailed description as well as contact information (we ask exhibitors to consider first two options, as this gives families a better look at your agency and services).


Once an option has been chosen, please include the following information in your submission:

 

  • Introduction of your agency/organization including key staff the families will encounter. 

  • A tour of your facility or a detailed explanation of where they can access services. The environment you provide your services at. 

  •  How families can access services? Do they need a diagnosis, 
       a referral, are there specific requirements for the individuals 
       to meet in order to qualify for support?

  • Provide information on how families can access your services, in-person, online or hybrid options. 
    •    Registration Deadline August 12th, 2024 
    •    Submission deadline September 14th, 2024 

  • Any other important information you would like to share about your agency or organization.

Company listing will be used on CBG Facebook Page and may be used on related promotional and marketing materials. Sub-letting booth space and/or distributing 3rd party literature at the Expo is prohibited. Prior approval is required for exhibitors wishing to share booth space.

Fee:


A $75 per exhibitor, non-refundable fee is required to secure your spot. Includes one exhibitor booth and virtual exhibitor page. 

Fees are payable by Cheque to Connect-Belong-Grow Autism Support Association or by EMT: sent to connectbelonggrow@gmail.com 


Registration:

​

  • Registration Deadline August 12th, 2024 

  • Booths are available on a first come, first serve basis. Please register early to secure your spot.

  • Please send over the signed consent form, photo or videos and written detailed description of your agency/organization according to the outline given above. Submission deadline September 14th, 2024 . Send to Cristina Sanchez from GoodWays Solutions at guzman.sanchezfamily@gmail.com who will be formatting and updating our webpage. Set Up & Break Down:​

​

  • Exhibitor: Set-up begins at 11:00 AM and must be complete by 12:45 PM. The event opens to public at 1:00 PM.

  • Breakdown: Breakdown is permitted at close of event, no earlier than 5:00 PM. Vendors will have until 6:30 PM to breakdown and remove all items from venue.
